Christmas and new year Celebration

UMA had Christmas and new year celebration on Saturday at St George school Karond. Shri Rameshwar Sharma MLA and Shri Krishna Mohan Soni were guests. During the function Outstanding sports achiever Mr Melvin Shaji was felicitated. Also major participants of Flood relief activity were honoured. Shri Abdul Aziz, a noted social worker of Kozhikode, who had helped in postmortem and disposal of about 2500 dead bodies, were honoured. Cultural program included items like Oppana, Mohiniyattam, Bharatnatyam, fusion dance etc. Margamkali was an added attraction. Musical presentations were yet another attractive event. RJ Anadi of 92.5 Big FM added colour to the program. Despite chill, the event kept the audience of 350 people holding till last and ended with dinner. Lucky draw winners were presented prizes.
